12-24-25   THOUGHTS

Gal 4:4a   “But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son,”  Zacharias was father to John the baptizer.  God’s Spirit speaks through him to bring fulfillment of the promise to Abraham into the present time!  John 1:14-16  And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.  15  John testified about Him and cried out, saying, "This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me.’"  16  For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace.”

Luke 1:67-75  And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying,
68  Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, 69  And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; 70  As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began: 71  That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us; 72  To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant; 73  The oath which he sware to our father Abraham, 74  That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, 75  In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

Our Prayer:
Thank You, O God, for our being delivered, all the days of our life in Christ Jesus.  You have brought the true peace to our eternity, which was promised since the world began.  Thank You for the “prepared body” of Jesus, our Savior.  By Your will...   we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once forever.  We thank You, O Father and God of all good.  In the name of Jesus, Amen.
